Editor in Chief

As editor in chief of The Echo, and with a relatively small staff, I had several tasks that included writing my own stories. I delegated stories to staff members and edited all final copy. I was also responsible for all layout of each issue as well as uploading the final file to the printing server. I even participated in delivering the newspaper around campus.

Notice that I, as many editors do, changed parts of the layout theme, specifically the Logo’s mascot; each month, other than Sept., was designed by one of the staff to reflect the season or holiday of that month (i.e. Oct. is a pumpkin to represent Halloween).
